Haven't updated this blog for ages, since I have been very busy for i.e. finding some part-time jobs, studying for TOEFL again and meeting my Osakan friends, so on..
And I finally found the job in Kansai International Airport (KIX) as a cabin cleaner. Since this monday, I have worked for it. There are so many things I don't know about the airport. It is very fun to see the airport's function from the different angle from as a customer. I found that so many laws and rules in the airports and those laws are very complicated and implemented very strictly. For example, the one of JAL's buildings in the airport, which I have to go every day to change my cloths, contains the company's export store buidling as well. Surprisingly, those spaces for keeping export products in the building DOES NOT BELONG TO JAPAN!! They don't belong to any countries. So, if I, who don't have any permission to enter the store building, went in the prohibited space, I have to pay fines, maximum 50,000 yen, about 480USD. and will be fired.
No wonder, it is very difficult for terrorists to attack airports, thanks to government's strict protection. No wonder that I have to show my two different types of ID cards to get to my workplace, airplanes. (In fact, three for those airplanes to fly abroad)
I underestimated the airport's security system. It's completely undercontroled. U can fly with relief, I gurantee. esp, at least flying from KIX!!
